LBJB Third League Match

This is Rhinos third league match and we are really looking forward for our first proper win. Starting this Sunday we are allowed to field 6 players during the match instead of 5 because each team now has a larger number of players. So it's going to be more difficult to get a goal because more players will be crowding the goal area. Today Rhinos is facing Beavers which we drew 3-3 during our last friendly with them. Ilyas played in the first quarter and he nearly scored (as always) with a grounder shot but the Beavers goalkeeper managed to push it away. The score remains 0-0 until the end of the second quarter.

For the third quarter Ilyas got to play again and he had a hand in getting Rhinos first goal. Hisham, our star player again break the deadlock when he hit a powerful shot amidst a scramble in front of the Beavers goal area. Beavers tried to fight back and there were a couple of nail biting incidents where they nearly score an equaliser. However, during the fourth quarter Rhinos managed to get another goal after the Beavers keeper unable to keep hold a weak shot by Eeman.

There are 9 league matches for the season and we have already finished a third of the matches with the two wins and a draw. It's a good start for Rhinos and I hope this excellent form will continues towards the end of the season.
