Please Read The Label

Assorted items of advice found on British and US labels in 2005 (By, among others, 'Which?' and Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch):
  • "Allergy advice: contains milk" on Tesco milk.
  • "Allergy advice: contains nuts" on Tesco bags of assorted nuts.
  • "Not suitable for marine use" on International Yacht Varnish.
  • "Average contents: 2" on a box of Puma trainers.
  • "Not suitable for children under 3 years" on a birthday card with a fluffy "2" on the front.
  • "Not intended for use as a dental drill" on a household drill.
  • "Do not use this tool as a hair dryer" on a Hot Air Paint Removal Tool that produces temperatures of 1,000C.
  • "Do not use while asleep" on a hair drier.
  • "Ovenware will get hot when used in oven" on a Revere Ware baking tray.
