This is the first time Ilyas is playing in a futsal tournament. Funny thing is, he never plays a futsal game before in his life. That would be no problem though as his LBJB team blazed through the group matches for Under 8 category. They won against Haneco FC 5-0, beaten LBJB B 3-0, trashed Cili Padi FC 8-1 and drew with HAPM Little Warrior 0-0. In the final they faced HAPM Little Warrior again but luck was not on their side as they lose 1-2. The other LBJB teams managed to get into the final as well for Under 10 and Under 12 categories but only our Under 10 team managed to become the champion.
Ilyas played as the defender but he still managed to get an assist. Next week he will be playing in another tournament at Putrajaya but that will be held in an open stadium. Hopefully his team will be the champion this time.
