Today we are facing the current league leader, SMACH and it surely looks tough. We were beaten 1-3 by them in the last season and once we were humiliated 0-6 by the same team in one of the cup matches. However, to my surprise, we were off to a bright start when our striker, Kerambit took the opportunity to score a goal in the first minute, capitalising from their keeper's mistake. We knew then that we will be under extreme pressures to hold the lead and it shows when one of our defender scored an own goal during one of the attacks. And they scored another goal when one of their strikers managed to beat the offside trap. First half ended with our team trailing by one goal.
We tried to put some fresh legs in the second half but SMACH also have the same idea. Even the introduction of our former captain, Rizal, couldn't stem their waves of attacks. Although Rizal did managed to beat their keeper only the see his shot hit the post. Final score is 1-4. Embarrassed? Not at all. Turned out that SMACH are also playing in the KL League.
