Today is quite an experience because I participated in our residential community first ever gotong-royong based wedding. Other than fostering good relationship among the neighbours, it can also help reducing the ever increasing cost of hiring the caterers to provide food and services for the wedding. I helped in arranging the tables and chairs as well as cleaning up the chicken body parts before frying them. I'm supposed to help the others until the wedding event is finished but I can only managed to stay there until before 12 noon because I had to attend several more open houses. It was fun and I'm sure more wedding of this style will be conducted in our locality in the near future.
