A visit from fellow Lancastrians

Today Haslinda and her family visited us at our home. They just came back from the UK a couple of weeks ago. Ilyas has not seen his former classmate Danial and his older brother, Imran for more than a year. We had plenty to talk about and after three hours there are still more things to talk about. We promised to them that we will visit their house when it is ready.

Happy 6th Birthday Maisarah!

Today is Maisarah's birthday and we are having a small family gathering to celebrate. Maisarah thought that she is getting all the presents today and started to feel sad but we told her that all her friends will be coming to her incoming party and only then she will get the presents. I asked her how many presents she wants and she replied, "One hundred". So much for asking.

Today is Ilyas' birthday and we are having a small celebration among the family members to mark this special occasion. But what Ilyas is really looking forward to is the official birthday party that we are going to have pretty soon.

Our Little Museum

We bought a new book case last week and we have been filling it with books, picture albums and some old stuff that I bought from the car boot sale in the UK. There are also some of the things that I had since I was a kid. It's not a finished project yet because I'm going to put my stamp albums in there as well. If I can remember where I put them in the first place.

Saturday Visitors

Today we received a few visitors to our house. Jo decided to surprise Rafidah with a congratulatory cake for her success in getting a PhD. Most who came were our Lancastrian friends and I also took the opportunity to invite one of my office colleague to discuss about interior design.
