I took a day off today to bring Ilyas, Maisarah, Eela and Ariffin to visit Muzium Negara. On the way we stopped by at the gate of Istana Negara. I'm always curious what exactly is attracting so many tourists to this spot as I've never stopped there whenever I'm traveling along the Jalan Istana. The royal guards are quite accommodating and not really fierce looking. One of them even put his hand on Maisarah's shoulder during the photo session. After spending like 5 minutes there we are back on our way to to museum.
