This is the second time our community held a sports carnival among the residents but it is our first time of joining them. The event started with aerobics and aikido demonstration. Afterwards Ilyas and Maisarah participated in the kids event, followed by the parents. I even volunteered to take part in the tug-of-war between Phase One and Phase Two. Last year Phase Two (my team) won this event and I'm determined to help them to retain the annual cup. We lost the first round but managed to win in the second round to force it into a final round. In the final round we won and thus keeping the cup for the second year running. Everybody participating in the sports carnival were given souvenirs and I think the organiser has done a good job in promoting friendship and good neighbourhood spirit among the residents.
